All this week on TechSPARK we’ll be highlighting a couple of event from this year’s Bath Digital Festival – just in time for you to sign up for the next day. If you’d like to see all the event hosted each day head to the BDF Website.
Thursday morning at Bath Digital Festival
The current pace of disruptive change in a globalised digital economy led by rapid technology innovations has left classic businesses struggling to keep up. But, that is also an opportunity for disruptive/innovative companies, both Digital Natives and Click-and-mortar, to create new markets and get customers.
But even the most cutting edge technical innovations need business innovations to succeed commercially.
This seminar on business model innovation and use of digital strategy to grow and scale your business, joins these two aspects through examples of leading companies.

Take part in a workshop designing an alternative AI Voice Assistant created by a growing community of self-identifying women (trans, intersex and cis) and all nonbinary, agender and gender variant people.
The workshop will create an AI assistant that better reflects an intersectional perspective. The workshop will provide you with basic skills to create an AI voice assistant in Dialogflow (a development platform for conversational systems) and a space to facilitate talking, sharing and listening.
By taking part in the workshop you become part of the expanding Women Reclaiming AI activist art-work and collaborative community – a symbol of collective action and protest.
