Bristol & Bath Summer Roundup

A summer check in on what’s been happening in the Bristol & Bath tech scene as seen on Instagram!

SETsquared‘s NextGen Invest 2020 was a huge hit online and showcased twenty early-stage deep-tech commercial projects, paving the way for innovative ideas to move out of universities and into the marketplace.

Engine Shed reopened its doors in August, to the delight of Bristol’s coworking converts and all those aching to get out of home office. Covid-safe meeting rooms are made available for team get-togethers of up to sixteen people.

Desklodge Bristol also reopened and held their first social event since lockdown: a virtual cocktail party complete with (optional) fancy dress.

Black Girl Convention announced they’ll be going virtual for their 2020 edition, alongside the launch of a brand new website. Speakers have been announced- check their newly rebranded social channels to keep up with the latest.
