How to Design your Marketing Funnel for Growth

08:30 – 10:00, Thursday 7 November @ The Strawberry Thief

If you’re apart of an innovation-driven business, there’s going to be one word on your lips: growth. Perhaps you’re unsure that what got your business to where it is today, won’t be enough to propel it to the next level, or you might be suffering from growing pains as you’re scaling up. Wherever the anxieties come from, the main question remains – where is your next phase of growth going to come from?

This breakfast workshop is designed to help you look at the core elements of creating a marketing funnel for your business to drive growth. We can help you discover how to attract the attention of the right people and draw them into your business.

F&G is on a mission to save good people from tedious marketing.

RSA Bristol: Future of Work

16:30 – 18:00, Thursday 7 November @ Engine Shed

Join RSA SW for a conversation on what the work will look like in the future. In our constantly evolving world, it can be challenging to predict how our working dynamics will function in 5, 10 or 20 years time. RSA wants to open up this important discussion through a series of fast-paced talks from a range of knowledgable speakers who are exploring this question in their everyday work.

Topics of conversation will have a particular focus on RSA’s Four Futures of Work areas. RSA is passionate about the fact that rising inequality, growing suppression in the workplace, stagnant wages, heightened discrimination and deepening geographic division could all have a bigger impact than simple job losses to robots.

This event is aimed in particular at educators who are looking to find out about the most up-to-date conversations and research that could influence future careers for their pupils.

Thursday Evening at Bristol Tech Fest

S/W LIT – AI – what is it and what’s it good for?.

6:30 – 8:30, Thursday 7 November @ The Brew House

The question for this evening is, what is AI and what is it good for?

First up, Rovco’s CTO, Iain Wallace, will be delivering a talk outlining some of AI’s prevailing useful features. Iain leads the development and application of cutting edge 3D and AI techniques to improve quality and reduce costs in subsea inspections, so he knows his stuff when it comes to the advancements AI enables us to make.

The second speaker is Jonathon Wright, CTO at Digital Assured. His talk will cover AI ethics, enterprise AI platforms, as well as outlining the considerations on how to leverage AI within your business.

Also on Thursday evening:

Of course, Thursday is also Bristech day. Sadly, the conference is now completely sold out, so well done to all the lucky people who got their hands on the coveted tickets!
